Working As Usual Towards What Can I Do On My Level Against Oppression Like With The Genocide Of Palestinians Flaring Up But It's Important To Rest Too So I Was Watching Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 1-3
I already read the first manga adaptation since pretty much its launch but i never read the original novels.
I like the usage of SD to make some scenes even funnier.
I don’t like the OP’s visual/style much and wish they did something less abstract like showing more of the huge cast. It’s kinda boring flowers imagery and then it’s just Maomao dancing like she was at fictional ancient China’s Juliana’s Tokyo for some reason. (When I die if I go to paradise and get to do anything I want I’d like to get a reality warping time machine to visit idealized versions of places like 80s Tokyo)
Really happy Jinshi’s first seiyuu Sakurai Takahiro got replaced by Otsuka Takeo, I can’t really enjoy his voice for now and also that was such a boring typecast. To be fair it’s the case for Yuuki Aoi/Maomao too and I think anyone could have guessed she could voice her. Though needless to say her performance is great and funny.
I don’t know Otsuka Takeo but he’s really good too. As I often repeat, I barely watch ongoing anime since 2016 so I don’t know newer seiyuu much. Quickly looked at his profile and it doesn’t seem I watched or played anything with him. From a glance it looks like one of his most iconic roles is one of the boys in Imas SideM Growing Stars called Eishi (I need to finish my post about being an otaku in today’s capitalism talking about things like scamco’s bullshit towards joseimuke)
He’s only 31 and it’s pretty cool he’s voicing a character as popular as Jinshi and doing such a great job. I really enjoyed his voice. Maybe he’ll get really popular after that seeing the Kusuriya anime will be a sure hit seeing it’s one of the most popular series in Japan right now.
I don’t know if I’ll keep watching the series weekly or watch it in batches or not watch it at all. It’d be nice if I could keep watching it with my family.
(For the record, I’m not implying that I follow the “three episodes rule”, never cared about it. It’s just that the first three episodes released simultaneously, which happens a lot lately)
